His voice is the whole point, so check the switch on the side of your phone first, then open the menu on his name and confirm Voice is on. Some phones also block sound until you tap the screen once.
Can I change the name he calls me?
Yes. Open the menu on his name and choose Start over. You get a fresh egg and a fresh name. He will not hold it against you, because he is incapable of holding anything against you.
Why did he pass out?
The Love-O-Meter filled all the way up. That is a feature. Give him a moment and he gets back up.
Does it work without a connection?
Completely. Everything runs on your device, so the app behaves exactly the same in airplane mode.
What does the app know about me?
The name you gave him and how many days you have visited, both saved only on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere, because there is no server to send it to. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
Start over from the menu clears what he remembers. Deleting the app removes all of it at once. There is no account to close.
Reporting a bug
The fastest fixes come from a quick note that includes:
- What you were doing when it happened
- What you expected, and what you saw instead
- Your device and iOS version, if you know them
- A screenshot or a screen recording if you have one
