The short version. SuaveReads is a free reading app made by SVLTMK LLC. There is no subscription and no advertising. A tip jar is optional and unlocks nothing.
Using the app
You may use SuaveReads to read your own material, and anything you have the right to read, on any device you own or control. The app does not give you any rights over the text you bring to it, and you are responsible for having permission to read and store what you paste, open, or scan.
What it costs
Nothing. SuaveReads is free to download and free to use, with no ads and no subscription. Every reading feature is available without paying.
There is an optional tip jar for anyone who wants to support the work. It is billed through your Apple ID, it unlocks nothing, and skipping it costs you nothing and hides nothing. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
A reading tool, not a diagnosis
SuaveReads helps you find the page shape you read most comfortably. It does not test for, diagnose, or treat dyslexia or any other condition, and the Comfort Test is a preference finder rather than a clinical assessment. For a diagnosis, see a qualified professional.
Your content
What you bring to the app, and the reading surface you settle on, are saved on your own device. Deleting the app removes all of it. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Availability
We may update the app, change how it behaves, or stop offering it. We will not take away something you have already paid for without telling you.
No warranty
SuaveReads is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, SVLTMK LLC is not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. If you install SuaveReads through the App Store, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies, and where these terms are more generous to you, these terms govern.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
