Quick answers first, then a real person.

SuaveReads brings any text to your own reading surface. Paste anything, open a link, or point the camera at a page. It lands in your font, your size, your spacing, your colors, with a voice that lights up each word as it reads. Built by a dyslexic thinker, for dyslexic thinkers.

How do I set up my reading surface?

Take the Comfort Test from the Comfort tab. Two minutes of short reads, and the app sets itself to what your eyes chose. You can retune any time, or adjust everything by hand under Comfort.

The voice is silent.

Check the ring and silent switch on the side of your iPhone and your volume. The app asks iOS to speak through the silent switch, but a very low volume still wins. The voice itself comes from your phone's built in speech, so no connection is needed.

What does holding a word do?

It opens the word workbench: the word in pieces, a slow voice that says each piece as it lights up, and the parts with their plain meanings. Keep it, and the word lands in your Words tab.

What is Bites?

Long text served one short chunk at a time, so there is less on screen to lose your place in. It turns on by itself for long reads. You can switch it in the reader's Aa panel.

Is my writing private?

Yes. The Spelling Sidekick fixes drafts and finds words entirely on your phone. Nothing you type is sent anywhere. Nobody sees your first draft but you. The whole story is in the privacy policy.

A page would not open from a link.

Some sites will not hand over their text. Copy the text on the page instead, then use Paste anything. It lands in the reader the same way.
