SuaveReads does not collect any of your data. Your reading, your drafts, and your words stay on your device. There is no account, no sign in, no analytics, no ads, and no third party tracking. Nothing you read, write, or fix in the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
Nothing. SuaveReads has no servers of its own and gathers no information about you. The app never asks for your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, or any identifier.
To make the app yours, a small amount of information is saved only on your phone, in the app's own private storage. This never leaves your device and we never see it. It includes your reading profile (font, size, spacing, background, and reading line choices), your Comfort Test results, the words you keep in your word bank, the spellings the app has learned from you, your reading preferences such as Bites, and simple counts like minutes listened. Deleting the app removes all of it.
The Spelling Sidekick fixes drafts and finds words entirely on your phone, using a word list that ships inside the app. Nobody sees your first draft but you. Nothing you type there is transmitted anywhere. When you copy or send a fixed draft, it goes only where you choose to send it.
If you paste a web link, your phone fetches that page directly over a secure connection so the app can show you its text, exactly as a browser would. That request goes from your device to the website you chose. We are not in the middle and we do not see it.
Listening uses the speech voices built into your phone. The text is spoken on the device. It is not uploaded.
Point and Listen reads text from a photo on your phone, using your phone's own text recognition. The app asks for camera or photo access only when you use that feature, reads only the image you point it at or pick, and the photo and its words stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and the app never browses your photo library.
When you share text or a link into SuaveReads from another app, or send a fixed draft out through the share sheet, your phone hands the content between apps directly. We never receive a copy.
SuaveReads is made for adult readers first, is suitable for all ages, and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. Because the app collects no data, we do not expect material changes.
