NYCHawk is informational. The street always wins. Signs, schedules, and city data change, and the posted sign, the official schedule, and the city's own records are always the final word.
NYCHawk reads public data published by the city, the state, and federal services, and shows it as clearly as we can. That data can lag, contain errors, or go offline, and we cannot control it. Do not rely on NYCHawk as your only source for anything with money or safety on the line: confirm the posted sign before you park, the official board before you travel, and the official advisory before you swim.
Summaries of street rules, tickets, and city processes are plain-English explanations, not legal advice. Tickets and disputes are between you and the city, and NYCHawk cannot file, fix, or dismiss them.
Camera views are the city's own public feeds, shown so you can look for yourself. Do not use them to monitor or track people. NYCHawk adds no recognition of any kind.
Use NYCHawk the way it is meant: to understand your block and your city. Do not attempt to overload the public data services it reads, and do not use it to harass anyone.
NYCHawk is free. If an optional Pro subscription is offered later, it will renew automatically until cancelled, be charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, and be manageable in your App Store settings, with prices shown in the app before you subscribe.
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
