Common questions

Do I need an account? No. LeanKai has no sign-in. Your work is kept on your phone and synced to a private cloud space keyed to a random id on your device.

Is it free? LeanKai is free to start. Kai Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that lifts the monthly free-tier limits on photos, chats, and voice. You never have to subscribe to use the app.

What does Kai do with my photos? A photo you share is sent up so Kai can describe the space and reply, then it is handled only to produce that response. Your photos and conversations are never used to train AI models. The full detail is in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my data? Open Settings and tap Forget everything. It wipes your data from the phone and clears your journal from the cloud. Deleting the app also removes everything stored on the device.

Kai Pro and billing

Kai Pro is billed through your Apple ID and renews automatically until you cancel. You can view, change, or cancel it any time in your device Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. Restore a purchase on a new device from the Kai Pro screen in the app. The full terms are on the terms page.
