Privacy Policy

Last updated 26 September 2026

Everything you share on SunlitKin stays inside your private circles. There is no public feed, no follower graph, and no algorithm that surfaces your content to strangers. Your data is never for sale, and there are no ads.

What we collect

We collect the minimum we need to make SunlitKin work. That means your email and password for your account, your profile name and optional avatar, the circles you create or join, and the posts, photos, videos, voice notes and voice replies, comments, and reactions you share inside those circles.

If you allow notifications, we store this phone's push token and its model name so we can deliver them. We do not collect crash logs, analytics or advertising data.

Our host keeps a log of each request with the IP address, device software and approximate location for up to 7 days.

Who can see your stuff

Posts, photos, videos, voice notes, comments, and reactions you share inside a circle are visible only to the active members of that circle. Nobody outside the circle can see them. Your profile name and avatar are visible to anyone who shares at least one circle with you.

What SunlitKin will never do

SunlitKin never sells your data and never shows ads. We do not use your content to train recommendation models. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.

Third-party services we use

Supabase hosts the database, sign-in, and file storage that power SunlitKin. Expo's push service and Apple's push service deliver notifications. These providers see only what they need to do their job.

Caricature profile pictures are drawn by DiceBear, an outside service at api.dicebear.com. When you open the screen to change your picture, the app asks DiceBear for caricatures and sends your account id as the seed that decides the face. Reshuffle sends a random seed instead. A caricature you pick is loaded from DiceBear, with its seed, on every phone that shows it.

Contacts stay on your phone

If you choose to pick a few contacts to celebrate birthdays, that list is read on your device and stored only there. We never upload your contacts and we never message anyone on your behalf.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from You, then Delete account. Your account, profile, posts, comments and reactions are removed right away, and your photo, video and voice note files are removed within 30 days. The clips of your voice replies and your profile photos are not removed with your account. Email info@svltmk.com and we will remove them. Want a copy of what you have shared? Email us and we will send your data to your account email within 30 days.

Children

SunlitKin accounts require you to be at least 13 years old.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version appears here with its new date, and SunlitKin calls out any material change inside the app.
