Everything you draw stays on your device. oomoomoo has no accounts, no sign in, no analytics, and no server that holds your work. We never see a single thing you make. We never sell data and we never show ads.
Nothing. There is no account to make and no form to fill in. We never ask for your name, your email, your phone number, or your age, and there is no server on our side that could store them if we did.
Every picture you keep is saved in your own device's storage, in the browser's local database. Alongside the image the app keeps the stroke recording, which is the list of movements it replays when a piece plays back as a timelapse. Both stay on your device. Removing the app, or clearing its site data, deletes them for good, and we have no copy to restore because we never had one.
The app remembers how you like it: your brush, your colours, how many folds of symmetry, whether sound is on, how far the 3D floats, and which characters you have met. These are kept on your device as preferences and nothing more. They describe the app, not you.
Save draws your finished piece into a single image on your device, then hands it to your device's own photo library or share sheet. Where it goes next is your choice and your operating system's business. The picture never passes through us.
Tilt 3D moves the picture as you tilt your phone. To do that it reads your device's orientation sensor, and only after you switch the mode on and your device has asked you to allow it. The readings are used to draw the frame in front of you and are gone the moment the next one is drawn. Nothing is recorded and nothing is sent.
oomoomoo never uses any of them. This is not only a promise: the app ships a permissions policy that switches the camera, the microphone, location, and ad topic tracking off at the browser level, so the app could not reach them even if it tried.
The sound is generated by the app as you draw, in the moment, on your device. There is no microphone, no recording, and no streaming of any kind.
The app loads two typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser asks Google's font servers for those files, which means Google sees that request and the address your device is connecting from, the same way it does on any site that uses them. Nothing about your pictures, your settings, or what you do in the app is part of that request. Everything else oomoomoo loads comes from oomoomoo itself, and the app ships a content security policy that makes this a rule your browser enforces rather than a promise you have to take our word for.
We do not sell data. We do not show ads. We do not run analytics, trackers, or crash reporting. We do not use your pictures to train anything. There is nothing to breach on our side, because your work was never in our hands.
oomoomoo is safe for any age to use, for the simplest possible reason: it collects nothing from anybody. There are no accounts, no messaging, no links out to other people, and nothing to buy.
oomoomoo is free. There is nothing to buy inside it, so there is no payment information for us to handle and none for us to lose.
If this policy ever changes, the new version appears here with a new date. Since we hold no data about you, a change can only ever be about how the app itself behaves.
