Privacy Policy

Nothing you do in LeanQuest is sent to us. There is no account of ours to make, no ads, no trackers and no analytics. Your whole career, every decision and every case you clear, is saved on your own phone.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not have a server that receives your play, so there is no copy of your game anywhere but your device. We could not look you up if we wanted to, because we never had anything to look up.

What the game saves, and where

LeanQuest keeps your career on your phone, in two places: the game's own save inside the app, and a second copy in the phone's own settings store, so your career survives even if iOS clears the first copy to free up space. It holds your rank and promotions, the cases you have cleared and your scores, your badges, the name you chose for yourself, your daily streak, your settings, and the mentor's questions and real-work tips from the cases you cleared. That storage belongs to you. Nobody else can read it, including us.

Deleting the app erases both copies. That is the whole deletion process. There is no request to send and nobody to ask.

What leaves your device

Nothing goes to us. The game's files ship inside the app, and it plays fully offline. There is no advertising kit, no analytics kit, no diagnostics kit, and no font or script pulled from anyone else's server. Apart from Game Center, below, the only outside addresses it knows are this privacy page and the support page, and they open in Safari only when you tap them.

Game Center is the one optional outside service. After you finish a case, the game asks once whether to keep your badges in Game Center, and never at launch. If you sign in, Apple receives the badges and promotions you have earned, as achievements on your Game Center account, under Apple's own terms. If you choose Not now, nothing is sent, and the game plays exactly the same without it.

When you share your certificate or a case card, you pick where it goes in the share sheet. It goes only there, never to us.

Permissions

One, and only when you ask for it. If you choose Save Image in the share sheet, iOS asks once whether LeanQuest may add the picture to your Photos. It can add pictures, never read them. LeanQuest does not ask for your camera, microphone, location, contacts or notifications.

Children

LeanQuest teaches workplace and business thinking and is made for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and since it collects nothing, there is nothing of theirs for us to hold.

If that ever changes

If a future version adds anything that leaves your device, such as an account or a leaderboard, this page will say so plainly before that version ships, and the app will tell you in the app.
